A community is traditionally described as a group of people living in a particular local area sharing similar public services. Another definition is a group of people having ethnic, cultural or religious characteristics in common.
In the 21st Century, people refer to Intelligent Communities as communities which relate closely to ICT. These kinds of communities make smart use of new technologies to improve quality of life, and facilitating improvements to the way people work and learn.
